Dear class of 3N2,
Pls leave your blog address in the comments so that i can link you on this blog. In the meanwhile, if you have any burning questions to ask on other topics, you can also ask through this post.

Add Maths Chap 1: Simultaneous Equations
1.1 Simultaneous Linear Equations in two unknowns
When solving two linear equations, you will obtain one x value and a corresponding y value. You can choose to use either the elimination or substitution method.
1.2 Simultaneous Linear and non-linear equations in two unknowns
When you have one linear and one non-linear equation, you will obtain two x values and two corresponding y values. In graphical terms, the line (linear eqn) intersects the quadratic curve (non-linear eqn) at two points. Therefore you will obtain 2 coordinates values. You will have to use the substitution method to solve the simultaneous eqns.
1.3 Determinant, Inverse Matrix and simultaneous eqns
(Leaving this out until the end)
Pls ask any questions regarding this chap by leaving a comment. Thanks.

3N2
Welcome to this blog. I have not thought of a nice name yet, so we will use this for the time being. Any ideas from anyone of you? =)
I understand that you have other blogs set up by other teachers and you may want to let me know so that i can create a link for you to those blogs on mine. I can also add on a rss feed to this blog so that you can view any updates from those blogs directly on this blog.
If you don't understand all that i am saying so far... maybe understanding this part would be sufficient. This blog is meant to help us in knowing one another better, as well as to include the learning of mathematics thru blogging where you can ask questions by leaving a comment on the post i will create for each topic. The setting up of this blog will take some time, but you will see it grow as the weeks pass by.
If you have any blogs of your own, you may want to let me know too so that i can add a blog roll of everyone in the class.
This will be it so far. Hope we can make full use of this platform.
Regards,
Mr Wong aka munch (only on this blog)
